It makes sense, but I see it the same way wiping out life affects Death: no life = no death. So if Galactus were to destroy all existence (excluding himself), I think it'd put both Death and Oblivion in a shitty position, seeing as how only Galactus would be left.

Oblivion encompasses everything that once was since the beginning of time. While no member of the compass can directly attack the other, I've always viewed Oblivion as being the grander of the 4.
