Why is this still active? The brackets for the final round have already been made, to debate this further is pointless.

Not really, the debate was pointless anyway because the final realm has the loser of this match faceing the winners of another match.

So even if Link/Ganon lost or Dante/Sephiroth they have still gone onto the final round, I thought the winner of this would eliminate the other team and we would have a real final of Dante/Sephiroth vs Kain and Kefka.
