Ecco the Dolphin vs Enguarde the Swordfish

Enguarde wins the race, Ecco wins the second due to being able to live longer out of water.

Ecco might actually win that race too, but I thought the Swordfish was the fastest swimmer. If it's not, Ecco probably wins. Ecco could win anyway due to possibly being able to swim for longer periods of time at a consistent speed.
