HELP!! Nasty smell in kitchen!

There's this weird, foul smell radiating in my kitchen.
It smells like a mix of dead animal/old garbage/murky water.
For some odd reason, I couldn't find the source of the smell.
Sometimes it seems to be coming from the refrigerator..
The bad thing is:
It's affecting the taste and smell of the food!
Even the food inside my refrigerator!!
Everything is now pungent and smells like said foul smell!
One more odd thing is if I go near the kitchen area (where the smell is coming from), I get all itchy. Like something airborne is sticking to my skin.

HELP PLEASE!!

I had my helpers clean the crisper and garbage disposal, as per gobstakid's advice.

Smell is still present.
I used a large bottle of Mr. Muscle Drain Declogger and poured it in the kitchen drain. Also bought some rat poison in paste form, just in case there might be a rat infestation.

Please, people I need some help.

Maybe your fridge has a dead rat inside of it or summit

Clear out everything in your refrigerator over 3 days old

move the fridge cooker and washer to remove debri which may be rotting out of sight.

Clear your cupboards of stuff thats past its use by date

rats can reach high areas check them for dead vermin.

take the waste bin outside blast it with Mr Muscle and scrub it out with your friends Manchester United shirt.

Buy a gun and a cigarette lighter torch your home and shoot anything that moves. Cleanse your house with fire and blood. Call the fire department Collect the insurance payout and you're done.
