Yeah. but Doom didn't have the advantage of already advanced tech and bionics to help him out. He had to master every scientific and manipulative disipline on his own.

It's simple. Being born on Titan gives you an advantage over being born on Earth. There is also a trend in comics for alien beings to be naturally more intelligents than humans.

It would be like if a man from ancient Rome could build everything in Lockheed Martins storage facilities.

Well by that logic no matter how much Thanos accomplished, you could say it wasn't enough... how much does he need to do before his "advantage" is negligible?
