Dragon Con

This weekend while staying with relatives in Atlanta I went to my first convention. It was mainly a sci-fi gig but it had a fair amount of comics.
It's called Dragon Con and it's hosted every year in Atlanta, Georgia. It's been going since 1987.

I personally saw Eric Roberts. He played Maroni in The Dark Knight. Great guy! I bought a Watchmen t-shirt(Comedian's pin - smiley w/ blood) because its so rare to find. There were tons of great costumes. Lots of anime, Indiana Jones, Jedi, Mandalorians, Watchmen, Spartans, Joker/Harley Quinn's, etc.

I'm going t0o try and make this a habit for every Labor Day Weekend. Has anyone else been to one? Maybe another convention this year? Please do share! I demand it!

This is cool, especially Shatner, but I think we have a thread dedicated to ALL con talk. If someone can find it, I'd be much obliged.

Yeah, I would've posted there but like you couldn't locate it.

Shatner and Nimoy were at a panel together. Would have been hell to see though. Patrick Stewart had a line stretching the entire hotel. Imagine Nimoy AND Shatner.

I'm going to try to get Shatner to say "Welcome to Dragon KHAAAAAAAAAN!"

Today was the last day. Does he have a panel today or something?

New York Comic Con is becoming mine and my brothers thing. Just the 3 of us. Cons must be Lou Ferrigno's thing because hes always at NYCC.

I think that's how he stays relevant.
