nova v gladiator

Nova is said to be very powerful but he was never powered from birth but from life support but gladiator is the strongest of the guardians of his planet.

Well when Nova got uber powered up, I was all excited thinking that Marvel was going to cut loose and let him kick some cosmic ass ala supernova. But that hasn't happend yet so... Gladiator for now...

Marvel seems to have forced DnA to reign Nova in a bit.

Well, Gladiator still wins majority. But Nova can and will get some wins. 2-3/10.

in a year or so, Morfe nova feats would prolly allow for a better debate, but until he's done MOAR!, Gladiator is three much.

Yes, with headbutt. Something about psi-dampers in his helmet.
My point is, that would work on Kallark just as well.

yeah it could but we all have to admit that a psi dampering headbut is one of the most un-cool moves in comics ever...🙂

Nova uses his helmet to block Glad's power.

Nova should be AT LEAST as powerful as Super Nova was. He hasn't shown that level of power yet and it seems as though he never will. He SHOULD be able to whip Glads, but they (Marvel) won't let him.

Because the Strontian Nova fought was Glad's sister. Also, powers weren't blocked per se; they worked just fine. But psionic dampers in helmet did made Xenith lose her concentration and confidence for a moment...
