Blade vs Sonja (Underworld)

Blade learns of a top secret project that the vampires are working on and heads out to stop it. He easily infiltrates the laboratory where the project is being developed and finds it to be a space-time warp designed to allow instant travel across vast distances.

Unfortunately a squad of vampires attack and in the confusion the device is triggered. A space-time portal opens and Blade is sucked in. He touches down in a forest at night.

Sonja and a team of Death Dealers are patrolling for feral werewolves when Blade appears behind them. He senses something 'off' about them, but decides to attack anyway. He lost most of his weapons in the warp, but still has his sword and one automatic pistol.

Blade opens fire, wiping out the vampires until only Sonja remains (she was furthest from Blade). Out of ammunition, Blade tosses his gun away and draws his sword. Sonja dismounts from her horse and draws her own sword.

To sum up:

They are fighting in the woods surrounding Viktor's castle. Blade has only his sword, no other weapons. Sonja has her sword, the one that can launch throwing stars from the guard.

Who wins?

Blade's back in his own timeline before Sonya's head hits the ground.

Blade easy, Sonja did not show me much

Blade wins easily. No effort required.

Now, Michael Corvinas vs. blade is a good matchup. 😄

You're entitled to your opinion certainly, but keep in mind that she did get the better of Viktor. I'd call that pretty impressive.

A Viktor that didn't want to REALLY kill his only child. Viktor held back, on purpose.

No, she got the better of him, he wasnt holding back IMO, I think he wasn't aware of how good she actually was. Remember she was sneaking out at night fighting lycans. But still, Blade wins.

Even if he was going all-out(which he wasnt'😉 Viktor didn't really do anything amazing with a sword that I recall.

Sonja didn't want to kill her father either. She had him at her mercy and could have killed him had she wanted to.

I should have read further down in your post. lol.

Yeah, she did hold back, but only after she had him.

In the commentary, it says somethign about Viktor's only weakness being his Daughter and him not wanting to kill her and being torn between teaching her a lesson and being a father.
