why do you say that? when they fought, it looked to me like captain marvel was winning.. The only reason he lost was because superman used captain marvel's "shazam" against him.

Although, in the cartoon, Superman was clearly getting the better of Captain Marvel when they fought.

H/P Doomsday wins 10/10

In the TV JLA Supes vs Captain Marvel fight:

1. They each fly into each other with a punch at great speeds. CM is sent back to the earth smashed.

2. They beat each other up for a bit.

3. Superman repeatedly smashes Marvel with a bank vault and KO's him.

4. Superman does a twister maneuver and drills underground. Marvel regains consciousness, follows him and engages him again, only to get KO'ed a second time (although he might've been faking, but I don't think Marvel is that lame).

5. Marvel uses his smarts/Shazam lightning to almost win, but Superman turns the game around.

Winner: Superman.

Actually in cartoon it was pretty even. Cap Marvel got some good shots as well. Supes had to beat him up with a vault.
