OK, well, back on topic... I am excited for Pirates 4. I am a tad concerned about the "Stranger Tides" thing. How strange is strange? I hate it when special effects etc overpower the story. There is so much potential with the pirates storyline and I love the relationship between Captain Jack and Barbossa. So, definitely can't wait till 2011!!

I only heard about all this now.

But the Pirates franchise does seem to be heading towards a more CGI based style....

It is with great disappointment that only Kevin McNally(Mr. Gibbs) will be returning to the POTC 4th movie.

The POTC fandom has started an online e-petition to ask Disney to reinstate the characters of Marty,Pintel,Ragetti and Mr. Cotton.

These characters are well loved by the POTC fans and the characters have always added a comic relief or special moment to the movies.

Bring them all back PLEASE...
