What's Wrong With "It's Complicated"?
You know how in Friendster, MySpace, Facebook, what have you; one can put "It's complicated" as a status? I find many see this as somewhat bothersome. I actually had one friend tell another, "Dude, that's pretty gay. Change A.S.A.P."

but why would you want to announce that anyway? problems or not, you're still in a relationship. unless you guys broke up, so now you're single. Why tell anyone it's complicated? to give them hope that you might be on the market? >>.
It wort of discourage people to ask about stuff, though.
sometimes I put it up for the lulz. xD All my friends no I don't have a bf anyway, so they get the joke. haha.

My Friend went on changing his status to "Its Complicated" from "in a relationship"; and it changed again in a space of a few days.
Then he sent this message:
After leaving Malta and leaving behind my daughter to start a new life with my new family, Sally, Dean and myself we found it hard to adjust. We were staying with my dad but we were getting there.
After finding a flat and then finding my dream job. Sally was working with my father and sister in a small pub and had been since we arrived in the uk. I called her to see where she was as it was late and was painting the flat. I didn't have a bootle opener and asked why she was so late....A slight pause and was told she had to help in the bar. yet she was home in 10 mins. I asked for the lottery ticket from her wallet and I had found an email address on thr back of our family dental appointment card...She said it was a girl from work. i could see she was lying and asked her to tell me the truth. She then swore on her sons life that it was...20 mins later she had confessed that it was a customer from work and that she had been seeing him for about 3 weeks. I slapped her in the face and walked out. This was our first night in the flat and she was dating another man.
I calmed down and said i would forgive her if she was commited to me and the family. I had never hit a woman before but i was hurt. We moved on and after we agreed she would not return to work. I remember holding her face and asked her if this was what she wanted as we had to kit out the whole fflat from top to bottom and this cost me over £2,500. she said she was sorry and she made a mistake. we got our son into school, swimming lessons and we had planned in 2 weeks time Dean what start his football training as he loved his football.
I took her to get her hair done as she wanted this and said i would treat her to a laser hair removal machine which both tallyed to over £250. This was ater finding out that she had been disloyal and gone behind my back. I loved her and this was not me buying her love but to show that i'm over what she had done.
After returning from work 2 hours early on my second day of my new job. I noticed that the her car was not there. I rang and rang her phone but no answer. the lights were on as i could see the tv on. My sister then came down and i went mad as i knew something was going on. My sister had then told me she had to go out as she had to do something. I kicked my sister out as she was babysitting our son Dean. I then sent a sms to Sally saying you.ve been caught out. about 20 mins passed and she returned. I was upset and angry but did not loose my temper with her.
I went out, got beers from the garage and sat in my car. I stayed there for 2 or 3 hours and obviously kept drinking. I could not beleive that this was happening to me. After spending all this money on the flat and her, I was being treated like a mug, used, lied to and so on.
That night i put my fist through the windscreen in anger. I had to let my anger out and I didn't want to be aggressive with her.
The messages i received all night was i love you so much, we can make this work, please trust me and so on. She suggested that she would go down to wales for a few days and then come back and start again fresh.
We were short on money and asked her mum to send her some money and i would transffer this back the next day. She has hated her mum for years and even said she had washed her hands with her only a couple off months earlier but she said this would be fine as long as we would still be together. I then transfered another £150 so she could give her mum her £60 back and she would have around £90 to live on for a week.
After a few days we were talking like nothing had happened and she cannot wait to see me and so on. I said i would put my head into work and that we would see each other within the week. I would receive sms after sms stating that we miss you lots and love you, cant wait to see you xxxxx this was all the time and obviously from me too. then affter a couple more days the messages were a bit more plain. She then said sorry but she wants to be on her own and that Dean and herself would be staying in Wales {195 miles away}!
Again i could not beleave this. after talking to my sons bed every night and saying.. dont worry son were going to be together soon. After my latest shock i was told i cannot pick up my son even though my daughter was arriving from Malta in a couple of days. Iff i wanted to see him i could only stay there in wales at a hotel. In anger I said i did not want anything to do with them as i could not be a part time dad..
A ffew days passed and i needed to speak to Dean. This was hard, I was being punished. I was a good dad and had always put Sally and Dean first in england, She had moulded me into a great ffamily man but this was not good enough.
To top it all off, her messages on ffacebook state that shes at home with her precious boy, who needs a man when you've got batteries...{ another thing i had bought for her!} She has even added this pricks name on her facebook and she even getting replies from friends of mine. { ones that i had introduced her too} with love and support..and good luck girl and so on!!!!!!!!
How the **** can someone have so much front. She has taken my boy away from me and has even sworn on his liffe on two separate occessions........I would never have done something so low and cheesey like this message but i need to set the record straight.but for ****s sake I've done nothing wrong and its still thrown in my fface with her bloody cruel and evil facebook comments.....I'm disgusted with the few of you supporting her and taken her side. I never want anyone to take sides but if anyone has to take sides then use your bloody head...You know who you are. Its a question of right and wrong thats all!

"It's complicated" could mean that they just got into a car-wreck by got in the 99th percentile on their MCAT. That would be a complicated status, imo.
