Thanos had to trap Thor in the cube prison to stop Thor. thanos even said that Thor's power was growing and he wouldn't be able to hold him.

Yes, but despite his huge increase he was still getting stalemated by Thanos. he wasn't physically beatable so when Thanos tired of his rant Thanos beat him. Thanos fought him for his amusement only it seems.

I never said that this force block would work on King Thor only it worked on power gem Thor.

The next scan, which I do not have. Loki is struck by the...flashlight facepalm and he obtains a ridiculous increase in power. So great that Thor and Firelord become almost insignificant. Just from being struck by it.

First of all, you presume to know how he cast this spell, how long it took, that he needed to physically do something, and that SS is fast enough to stop him.

We never actually see Loki cast the spell. There's also the fact that we have no reason to assume that Surfer is actually faster than him. Loki has plenty of speed feats on his own, among one of those things is his interstellar teleportation, which is instant.

If you want to go by the CIS argument fine, the odds are on my side anyway. There are 4 or so incidents where Loki's fought someone much more powerful than him. 3 of those incidents he ended up with their power.

It's completely different. Odin is a magician as well, he is actually wiser and a better magician. This is also the case why Loki would not be able to do it against Surtur.
