Couldn't he just jump on one and move ahead in succession killing them all or just hold his saber out for them to walk straight into it? Goombas aren't known for their intelligence.

With no connection to the Force whatsoever, I don't know if Galen could make it past Travis. I'd go as far as to say he has trouble with Wander, but Wander really only has good feats against creatures larger than himself.

He didn't have any "dark" powers, you could use the same spells regardless of your alignment.

galen does have his training robot by his side since you are all ignoring that

Well that's between his SW2 version who has duel old school pistols and SB2/3 who moves way faster and is way stronger.
