LT has a material body and was already destroyed, so he can be. And there were few beings that could destroyed him through history of Marvel comics.

Well, my whole point is that this Team can't take him. Or even shake a penguin at him.

And yeah, he can be "damaged", but he's immortal in every sense of the word. He was created by God and is second-in-power only to God. Without those special uber-artifacts, no one is equal to or could ever surpass LT. Even Galactus and non-HOTU Thanos could do no more than merely "appeal" to LT. He's the supreme authority, just under God. This Team couldn't take LT in a million years.
