i think the main problem is that they have to get past the power/air/water shortages that have been plaguing them, and yet when they do, there's nothing to stop them from dialling earth. they need to come up with a workaround...
I don't think they will get past the shortages. It wont be long before they are out again and need to restock. Plus the ship seems to have a mind of its own and gets power when it needs it. I also don't think Rush wants to go back to earth. 😛
