Thanos vs. Agent Orange

Started by Lunacyde14 pages

Larfleeze wins. He has the entire power of the Orange Light. The guy is a Parallax level threat. He destroys high level planet busters like the Guardians and torches through the GL Corps. and Controllers.

Thanos has no actual feats. Knocking back Galactus is not a feat. Especially in what seems to be a low to no gravity environment. Regardless it didn't harm Big G whatsover, didn't even phase him. He was begging for Galactus not to turn him into fried Thanos pudding when his shields held up to one momentary blast. Notice Galactus says that one additional blast will destroy the shield and Thanos with it. Also notice he say's admirable tech. It's not Thanos himself but a piece of tech creating the field.

😕 Thats not Thanos only feat.

He had trouble taking back the Orange Ring from Luthor. He was manhandled by Atrocitus, a herald leveler. If he's winning this, it ain't easy at all.

Srly, do u think Galactus would be effected by freaking gravity? 😑

Thanos loses.

Thanos gets beaten down by Odin, Larfleeze beats down a good chunk of the GL Corp AND handles their Guardians, plus kills some Controllers on the side.

Sorry. I didn't mean Thanos doesn't have any feats. Just none on a high enough level to make him win this.

What does Galactus being effected by Gravity have to do with anyhting? If anything you are solidifying my point.

I think he's arguing Big G defy's the laws of gravity, for some odd reason..

As if he has cosmic breaks on all the time that makes Thanos's feat of knocking him on his rear more impressive or something...

But yeah, I'm pretty sure Big G gets affected by universal laws the same as any other physical body.. He is, after all, a physical being.

You were making a point that Thanos's "feat" was enhanced by a no gravity environment when it doesn't effect the situation at all because its Galactus.

I was a fool to back Thanos. Larfleeze FTW.

I love how now that Larfleeze's biggest fan (Kris) is gone he's suddenly given much more support.

Did you miss Hal give him a run or Atrocitus?

You mean when his powers were ****ing up?

And Hal hardly gave him a run in the Agent Orange arc. He couldn't do much of anything that posed a threat until his blue ring came alive.

Isn't Larfleeze capable of reaching 10,000% power level? Or was it 100,000 when Sinestro jammed his head into his power battery?

Larfleeze' only downfall is his extreme lack of intelligence when it comes to facing someone like Thanos. That alone gives Thanos the chance to win, here, imo.

Hal barely did anything, and he has a weapon that is very effective against an Orange Ring (blue-green ring combination). Don't forget the different color rings have symbolic effects against each other. Besides Hal had a power boost and the Blue ring supercharges the Blue one.

Larfleeze is pretty much a One Man Lantern Corps at full power. He'd probably be well above Skyfather level IMO at full might.

Exactly. He has the power of the entire Battery at his disposal.

But he's pretty stupid. Most of his feats are simply consequences of possessing the Battery for such a long period of time.

That's the way I see it. If he wasn't a raving loon, he'd be able to crap all over Thanos whenever. As is, Thanos' intellect gives him the slimmest of opportunities to best him. He's not going to overpower him, though. Not on his own, anyway.

Pretty much.
