Couples Retreat: comedy
Vince Vaughn and Kristen Bell stars in a comedy about couples trying to find happiness again in a tropic island paradise.. sounds like a good old fashion romp fest right? Aw..no. What follows is one of the worst films to come out in a while. Mind you, it has the really hot Kristen Bell but that’s not enough to save this mess. The movie sets up allot of gags involving sharks, bowel movements but there is never any payoffs. I have to give them thumbs up for trying..but trying doesn’t bring money into the box-office. The last great film from Vince Vaughn was Swingers and he’ll continue trying until he writes the Wedding Crashers 2. Overall, there are minimal laughs and from the preview that I attended, allot of guys were leaving the theatre 30 minutes into the film. If you can survive the whole movie, there is a message…marriage is hard work. I don’t know what’s harder…marriage or watching the entire film again!

I had planned on staying at home touching myself rather than seeing this anyway.

I would go see Zombieland a second time before watching this movie.

Damn. I thought this movie would be funny

My girlfriend was trying to get us to go see this. I had to tell her several times about the horrible reviews it is getting to get her to not make me go.

It stars Vince Vaughn and it's not Swingers or Made...,why did you go see this?

Thanks for the tip guys. I can save my eight bucks and go see something else instead.

I would not recommend anyone under the age of 18 seeing this movie. We saw it tonight with another couple and thought it hilarious.

yeah, that one's good too. Ever since i watched, Swingers, Made and The big Empty. I feel like i know what Vince Vaughn is going to say before he says it. Still love the dude. He definitely has a unique comedic timing that is perfect for cinema.
