Gambit got his Death powers when Apocalypse needed new Horsemen. Gazer became War
Sunfire became Famine(He could make flashes of light to trick your body into thinking you're starving)
Gambit became Death(He can make any poison)
Polaris became Pestilence

Now Gambit has shown the ability to change back to his Death persona, kinda like Angel, so he'll probably do it again.

My 5 cents: Gambit turned back into Death in legacy annual, where some stupid TP started poking around in his brain. This time, however, he didn't do any fart poisons, but charged his card black, threw it at suicidal TP, and poor sucker was sucked into the card.
Summary: no one knows currently just WHAT Gambit's "death" powers are.

Did Cable get back his TP/TK powers or something? Haven't been following his book since Messiah War.
