It ain't a stupid argument because it was the same god damned story. It was 3 pages after. and seeing as Superman's never -ever- mentioned this before, it's pretty safe to say that either it doesn't work or he just discovered it. They were going to kill Mandrakk 2, so what's the argument against using it?

And like I said, Superman didn't need to use it on Mandrakk, and HE COULDN'T even if he wanted to. Besides that, Superman had another 52 Superman, Judge of Evil, and a group of Gl. It was enough for the sake of the story.

Not the same at all.
What I'm talking about spans half a comic, not 50 decades. Thor does use the godblast when he needs it. This is a matter that ties in with him not wanting to kill everybody. That's why Superman doesn't hit his hardest against everybody. Superman wanted to kill Mandrakk 2, they even did.
This vibrational business happened once. Thor showed that he could absorb the Presence's energy as well.
