We will...rewrite the script so to speak. You can be anyone anything, and you do not have to follow the script in any way shape or form. Make up your own characters, ships, even whole planets if you wish. You can be anything, bounty hunter/jedi/senator etc. Go anywhere, do anything, within reason. We will not be following what happened in the movie, which means no assasination attempts, no trip to Naboo. Basically what I am saying is, if you wish to be, say, Shmi Skywalker and still be a slave participating in the story you can. If you wish to play a character that was in the story, you can play them at whatever age, give them whatever attitude you wish. All I will say is that, in the story, recently the Jedi have been acting strangely and the senators suspect an attack by them...
Does it make sense? It's an Alternate Universe, and it would be fun I think.

For years the New Republic has lived in peace, rebuilding what once was so grand and turning it into something much grander.
An army has been created to fight alongside the Jedi if need be. The concern of most senators lie with trying to merely keep the Republic safe, while others are worried about the well being of the political body itself...
For years the Jedi have thought the Sith dead, gone with the death of Darth Vader. They still train for an emergency situation, but no one expects one to arise. In consequence, the Jedi are not as prepared as they could have been.
In a dark ally, way down in the deepest parts of Coruscant, a small group of senators meet. The walk tentatively up to a dark shape in the corner. They can see his sharp eyes gleaming beneath the black hood.
We have been waiting for you...
The senators shivered as an almost metallic voice spoke to them.
You called up us, sir? One brave senator spoke up, holding out a small treaty to the black cloaked man.
Yessss. The man yanked the paper out of the senators hands.
To whom does this treaty go to? All the senators were becoming uneasy. Some one else was supposed to be there...
The treaty goes to me. The mans malicious smile was the last thing the senators saw, before a flash of red light blasted them into oblivion.
The senators were found three days later, not a single one of them alive. Of course, this aroused suspicion in the senate, but it was soon blamed on a gang of twilighters in the down-levels.
At the same moment that the senators were being sent to their homeworlds, a man in a dark cloak walked into a small base on Tatooine. His sharp eyes glowed with delight. He walked up to another man, this one strong and muscular, and handed him the treaty.
You have done well, Darth Syris.
Thank-you Master. Syris bowed, and then fell behind. Syris was a very powerful Sith, and cunning as well. When the dirty work of taking over the Jedi order and turning the Senate against them was over, he would overthrow him. After all, Syris was the brains in this plot....he was the enemy.
Life in the New Republic goes on as usual, completely oblivious of what goes on. Strutting around with a "nothing can happen to me" kind of attitude.
The Jedi continue to train against an enemy that they have no idea exists. They don't know his ways, they don't know his power.
Deep in the heart of Tatooine, a dark force is rising...preparing. His dark eyes gleaming under his hood of black....
Ta-Da!! Ok, you can be anything Dark Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter, Senator....Heck, you could even be a Janitor in the halls of the Republic, but I wouldn't recommend that 😕 Anyway, I would appreciate it if everybody didn't choose some kind of Jedi or Sith, the Republic cannot be run by just one senator.
There will be rules, and maybe a character application to be filled out in the main thread, if it goes anywhere.
But please, I have seen this on other roleplays on this site...Do not roleplay for other characters! They are a piece of their makers mind and therefore cannot be acted out by anyone else!!

A new Jedi academy has been built on the planet of Tanaab. Many students have already joined, and all is well. But as the years pass, the academy starts to send the Jedi on missions that are against the Jedi code, and some of the masters start to worry. This goes as far as Jedi falling to the Dark Side, and the academy loses more and more Jedi....
You are a Jedi who has joined the academy, and hears about these Jedi who have been tainted. Now you must choose whether to continue following the Jedi and follow the Jedi way, or go on these missions and fall to the lure of the Dark Side...

THE JEDI TEMPLE, NIGHT
A hooded figure walks through the temple halls his footsteps making no sound. He walked out into the docking bay, wind and rain whipping at his cloak he climbs into an X-wing and takes of.
SPACE
The X-wing flys to a distant planet past a hyperdrive ring which looks empty. The X-wing goes past and a starfighter inside the ring takes of in pursuit.
TATOOINE
The hooded figure walks into a cantina and moves to a table where a man in black robes sits.
Black robed man: Welcome young one
Hooded figure: Master
Black robed man: I am glad you came lord Exile
Darth Exile: if I may be so bold master why did you make me come here to give me the message, why could we not speak over HoloProjectors
Black robed man:I have a mission for you Lord Exile one which must be completed at all costs, HoloProjectors can be replayed
Jedi (followed Exile) : Just as conversations can be eavesdropped, your evil ends here sith scum
Black robed man: Exile
Darth Exile: Yes master, I will deal with him
In unison both figures ignite their Lightsabres, the Jedi's is blue while Exile's is green and they engage in a fast and furious lightsabre duel. The jedi spins and uses a force assisted kick to knock exile's sabre flying across the room he then slashes Exile's face sending a scar through his lips. The jedi goes in for the kill but stops when Exile uses the force to send his lightsabre hurtling through the jedi's abdomen. The jedi falls dead.
Darth Exile: Your instuctions master

THE JEDI TEMPLE, NEXT DAY
Luke skywalker is training some younglings, one of the younglings interupts
Youngling: Master Skywalker are you okay how did you get that scar?
Youngling indicates a scar through Lukes lips.
