What are the first three things that you would save if your house was on fire?

Your house is on fire.

You have time to only save three things.

Family and pets are excluded, because this goes without saying that we would save them first.

What three things do you save? In ORDER. You HAVE to explain why, and why in what order.

1. My signed picture of Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. The single most precious thing in my life!

2. The only picture I have of my maternal Grandfather.

3. The Optimus Prime figure that I have had since I was a child. It was such a surprise when I received it as a Christmas present and that is why have kept it for over 20 years.

If i had time to find then save the 3 things i would want to save. I would be able to save my house. So i choose that. 🙂

My mother's wedding rings, she gave them to me, I'm planning on giving them to my daughter.

My box of photos, pictures can't be replaced.

My box of momentous from when my kids were babies, includes their baby books, first outfit, shoes, other trinkets that I am keeping for them. It's for memories of their childhood.

My computer tower. It has most of my pictures of me, my wife, child, and family.

My paintings. They were all done by a inmate when I was a prison guard.

My comic books and video games. F*ck whatever you say. They are an investment and I dont want to see them burned.

not counting my wallet and cellphone (they are ALWAYS with me), I'd say:

my Star Wars collection (dvd's, toys, posters ... as many as I can take with me)

... though I'm thinking of taking as many videogames as I can instead of the 360

1: The picture of me and my entire team together. It's the last picture some of them ever took.

2: My cell phone. I need it.

3: The Tokarev that my father gave me. Family Heirloom.

The two stuffed animals I had since I was born.

Pets (counting both cats as one), Buffy comics, bag with phone, keys, purse etc. 😄

Depends where the fire is in the hizzouse.

I would save my video game consoles, desktop PC, and laptop.

However, since I story my laptop, backup drive, laptop peripherals, etc. in a large, wheeled, gym bag, all I need to do is put the consoles into the bag.

Other than that, the insurance can replace everything. I would lose many many hours of time if I lost my backup drives, computers, and consoles. Therefore, they are the most logical of choices.

Since I don't have but less than 30 hardcopy pictures with all the rest being digital, I don't really have any pictures to save.
