That's not how it goes.

Then he would be moved by explosions, he would have moved when Rogue or Colossus charge into him or throw a punch. If he can still be moved then any punch thrown by someone stronger than class 5 would send him flying.

Who says its not how it goes? Just because the person is moved upon impact doesnt meant they dont absorb it. I understand that he may have not moved in the past vs stronger opponents, but is him being moved whats up for debate here? I thought it was him absorbing the claws?

Hell Daredevil has sent Namor flying with a punch. Someone sent flying or moving with a punch doesnt quite mean they took any damage or were hurt by the attack.

That's not the same, not in the least.

He absorbs kinetic energy. How can he be moved if he absorbs the kinetic energy?

If the impact it strong, he will and should be moved no matter if he absorbs it or not. If he gets hit by a car or bus, will he not move?

Shaw absorbs kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is the work needed to accelerate a body of a given mass from rest to its current velocity. This energy is gained through acceleration.

If Sas grabs Shaws head and rips it off his shoulders, no kinetic energy can be absorbed, aside from the fact that Shaw won't have a head.

If you got a scientist with the physical attributes of Langkowski, I have no doubt that'll he'll be able to work around the Kinetic energy absorbtion problem proposed by Shaw.

If he gets hit by a bus or a car he would not move.

He absorbs the kinetic impact. Do you realize what this means? How the hell can he be moved when he absorbs it?

I think you may be on to something. I don't recall Shaw ever budging from a blow from somebody so weak.

Not buying it. Id love to see some kind of scan. I just cant see him not budging if he were to get hit by a bus.

I think that this may be one of thise times where the willing suspension of disbelief is required. No amount of "comic book science" will make sense of it.

Even though Shaw lost that fight not many guys can hold their own against Magneto in a junk yard style setting.

The fight doesn't make any sense.

It one of those bait and switch panels where the writer can't think of a way to down a character that makes logical sense, so they pull a Houdini and all of a sudden the character in question is magically defeated. Kinda like the Wolverine vs Sebastian fight where Wolverine was getting pwned and then all of a sudden the lights went out and all sorts of nonsense occurred. Or Wolverine vs Lobo years ago.

I agree. Shaw did start it though. Good for his ass.

Shaw was most likely overloaded with all that metal falling on top of him. Thats the only logical conclusion one can possibly come up with. They showed the metal on top of him/them, and then they showed Mags pulling him out.

^^^I guess so.

Shaw could not have been overloaded by a pile of metal. He can take several punches from guys like Colossus and powered up classic rogue.

Not just metal, the Power of Magneto is behind it so give that a thought. Anyway seriously how the **** did Daken kick him out the window? I mean a toss or a trip or something that makes sense not a damn straight kick out the window. Does the Murasama blade do something to Shaw's powers?

Wasn't there a Shaw respect thread?
