Do you have acrobat installed too?
there's an issue with Adobe Acrobat that makes it an absolute nightmare to uninstall. What i do is just delete the files from photoshop off the hard drive after uninstalling, and reinstall over it.
Download and install Revo Uninstaller
It's FREE and it removes the registry entries as well. Restart the PC if it tells you to.
