Harry frowned. What the heck did I just get into, he thought. "Micah, what's with Rose? What's with you, and your daughter - is she that powerful? Or.... is this something with Isolde? I'm not angry, I'm just.... I need to know what this is about."

Micah stopped, and glanced down with an intense look.

"Isolde always wanted an heir or heiress. She feels that my daughter is strong because she's a Damphir. Half-human, half-vampire. She may turn Rose against us. Probably make a "Isolde clone" out of her."

He looked at Harry. "That's why we need to get Rose back. So that Isolde won't twist Rose into something she's not."

"Thanks." Harry murmured, a little guiltily. "I don't know enough about half-vampires. But from what I know about Isolde..." Harry's grip on his staff tightened. "We really need to get Rose back. I'm ready."

Lara glanced around the cave. "This'll do okay, I guess. Is everyone okay back there?" She asked around, tending to the other humans' needs.

"Hmm...That seems to be a pass. I guess you both can pass to the Underworld." Cerberus's voice rang in their heads. "Hell yeah! Thanks for letting me come with ya dude. Was a big help." She smiled. "Maybe we'll meet up again sometime." Asha waved back at him as she ran off into the Underworld.

" Julia, You get a fire going and I will go hunt for a wild boar or something for us to eat " Olivia said as she took out her bow gun and stood at the front of the caves entrance.

Several hours had passed since his chance meeting with the green-haired girl, and Kale already had pushed her from his mind. Several moments after entering the Underworld, he had seen a castle in the distance, a voice within telling him there would be answers deep inside the castle, and a familiar presence beckoning to him, though from where, he was unsure, as he was to why it was so familiar.

That feeling... I know something in there is calling out to me... Someone... Maybe...? But whom? And to what nature? He shook his head, running slowly up the side of a hill, trying to get a better view of the place before heading in, possibly scan it for some way in. He had no sooner thought it than he reached a steep cliffside, staring off at the castle, now only a few hours' run away. Jésus Cristé. This does... Not look good...

After she placed on her beautiful blue dress, Rose sat on her bed, looking down at her folded hands that rested on her lap.

"Who am I really? What's my purpose?" she whispered to herself. She sighed sadly and closed her hazel eyes.

"Rose? Rose?" A voice from behind said. She turned around, startled.

It was her ghostly friend, Jake.

She smiled brightly. "Jake!" The young girl got up happily. "What are ya doin' here?!"

"Shh!" Jake said, floating to her and covering her mouth. After looking around, he hugged her. "Thought I was too late..."

"Too late? What do you mean, Jake?"

He grabbed her wrist gently. "C'mon. We have to go."

-----------------------------------

Micah looked at Harry and nodded with a smile. "Thank you, my friend. We will get her back. I promise."

He hid behind the bushes to wait for coming guards. "Behind the bushes, Harry. Quickly!" he whispered.

Another hour gone... How is it taking me so bloody long to travel to this castle? I hope my suspicions are right... I hope this is all worth it... He continued on his way, stopping in front of the castle and looking upward, his heart stopping momentarily as he realized the sheer size of it, his original plan to scale the wall in an attempt to use the roof for entry completely given up on at this point.

"Well, I suppose... I should do this the only other way I know how..." He walked up to the front door, placing a hand on either side and charging flames within his hands. "God, I hope I don't get any splinters from this one... I'm still pulling some out from the last door I did this to..."

He winced a bit as the door slowly burst into flames, then removed his hands before it could catch to his clothing. Wow... Controlled it well that time... Surprise surprise...

As the door burned, he slipped through the opening, the hallways stretched before him. What the bloody f*ck? This place is even bigger on the inside... I will never find what I was looking for... No sooner had he said it than the same familiar feeling compelled him to continue on. Where is that from? Why do I keep following it? Who is... Wait, best question so far, why am I talking to myself? He shook it off and continued throughout the hallways, feeling very certain that he was very much going to regret this... And that at some given point, a fight was going to erupt.

((Wonder where TxG's at?))

Micah suddenly saw what looked like a young man come to the front door of the castle. Thank goodness they were a few feet from the castle and him.

He also saw the young man blast the door down and walk in. Micah popped up from the bushes. "Is this guy crazy?!" He sighed with frustration. "Come on, Harry. Let's follow him. See what he's up to."

-----------------------------------

"Go? Why?" Rose asked.

Jake sadly turned to look at his human friend. "The Vampire Queen might be planning something sinister for you. That's why we have to go."

Rose squinted her eyes and backed away. "No. Not... not my new mother..."

The ghost boy squinted his eyes as well. "New mother? Rose, what are you talkin' about?"

"She's my new mother, Jake. No. I can't go. I won't go!"

"What the hell is that guy doing?" Harry ran after Micah. "We could just follow him, and break off if we see Rose. Or we could split up. We could separate when looking for your daughter."

Kale stopped dead in the center of the hallway, feeling as though he was being watched. He hovered both hands over guns, then shook it off and continued running.

Don't let this place get to ya, Kale. You're not that weak minded. It should be fine. Just another creepy castle.

He continued running, stopping at a crossroads and wondering which of the three paths he should take...
