Nomak versus Michael Corvinus...

Michael, the hybrid from "Underworld: Evolution", versus Nomak, the reaper from "Blade II."

Fight takes place where Michael fought Viktor in "Underworld", h2h combat, to the death.

Who wins? Both are at full strength.

Blade beat Novak.

He wouldn't beat Michael.

Novak is dust.

-AC

Who's Novak? Remember, this is straight up h2h, no broken sword blades around to use.

Was thinking of another vampire, my bad.

I know, hand to hand. Michael would win. He's not a failed experiment, he's the opposite.

-AC

Never heard of Novak, who is he?

Yeah, I agree Michael owns him h2h. But how? You think he has the strength to punch through Nomak's stone encased chest?

He's from a comic. You wouldn't know it. It's actually "Nowak", but pronounced "Novak".

I don't do "How".

I do what fantasy fights are meant to contain. I analyse the attributes and make the call. We've agreed Michael wins.

-AC

But we must also discuss how Michael kills him. Michael is more skilled, but Nomak is pretty badass.

Corvinus ftw

Why must we?

No need. It's about who'd win, not how. If you ask how then you get a million and one people, like you do, scripting out fights.

-AC

So we just say "This guy wins, just cuz?" We don't discuss how? Lame.

Tell me sumthin, why aren't you in the Ozy versus V thread, saying the same thing? Because really, they're going on page after page of how this guy or that guy would win.

Wait, lemmee guess, I'm playing victim here, right?

Why must we?

Because there's no fun otherwise

Where's the fun in that?

Which is the entire point of these threads. We WANT to read scripted out fights.

Beg your pardon but no. Michael has no skill or combat training at all. That's why Viktor eventually got the upper hand in their fight, because Viktor had combat skill while Michael didn't.

Nomak by contrast did display at least some skill when he and Blade fought. Heck, on the DVD commentary, Wesley Snipes even comments on this by saying they tried to show how Nomak was able to quickly pick up fighting skills by observing others.

Exactly, this person says how this guy might win, that person says how that guy might counter and win.

I just read that thread, RJ.

I can't see any scripting. Highlight which posts (In PM of course, not the thread here) are scripting and I'll be glad to offer the same voice to them.

The problem is that RJ doesn't take his own medicine.

I have no problem with saying "Well, based on what we know, this guy might be able to do this, or use this to his advantage.".

RJ doesn't do that. He sits there saying "This WOULD happen, then he'd do this, then this, then this.". Down to the very MOVE. There's no MIGHT. He decides what WOULD happen based on what miniscule knowledge he has of the franchise, backed up by just having seen/watched the movie.

That's just retarded. That's no fun for anyone.

RJ is preaching fun, but ask him how much fun he has when every thread is more or less him getting stomped because people are annoyed by his misunderstanding of Vs fights.

The Comic Vs, last I checked, isn't "He'd do this, he'd do that." down to the movie. It's MIGHT, and COULD, based on evidence. Back and forth. When you decide what WOULD happen, that's it, what's the point? You're meant to be debating what MIGHT and COULD happen with hopes of concluding what would, not knowing that in the first post.

Hey, I got a solution.......Ignore the thread?

You kept saying this when I continually told you to pay attention to the rules before, it took multiple cases of Impediment coming in to tell everyone (You) what they are.

Then you got mad at him for it.

How about YOU pay attention to sense and start making good threads? It's not coincidence that your threads are always the most troublesome. You're just shit at making them, RJ.

I find them tricky to make, I'll give you that much, so I don't make them. If you can't swim, stay out of the pool.

Yes, you've said that part, RJ.

I already replied.

Ignore button FTW?

Incorrect.

He's one of the best at making them. His threads are some of the best match-ups. His threads create the best discussion from both "sides."
