Speed Racer/Racer X versus the Boonta Eve Race...

Speed Racer and Racer X have found a way to travel to distant galaxies, seeking out racing challenges. Hearing of the Boonta Eve race, they land on Tattooine and, using parts from Watto's junkyard, enable their cars to achieve the same speed as the podracers.

Speed is driving the Mach 5, and Racer X is driving the Shooting Star, and each car has the modifications they had from the Casa Cristo Race.

Can Speed and X win? Bear in mind they will be working as a team, and Pops, Sparky, Trixie, Mom, Spritle and Chim Chim are there. Trixie will be flying overhead in her chopper, advising Speed and X.

One word, Sebulba.

How fast do the pod racers go? The thing about this is that Speed and Racer X have gadgets that will help f*ck up the other pod racers, while the pod drivers, other than Sebulba, can't do much to defend themselves.

Not only that, but if Racer X and Speed make their own cars to keep up with them, they're gonna need something without wheels in general because the pod racers don't race on a track, they go all over the place. So they might as well build themselves some pods. Probably sorta resembling the Mach 5 and the Shooting Star.

Agreed, it'd be better and more interesting if they got to build a pod racer and get at least a few days to learn how to drive them.

Have you guys seen Speed Racer? Speed and X's cars are more than capable of navigating the Boonta Eve course.

I thought at first they could, but then I remember in Episode I when they went through the cave tunnels, there was no track there, only jagged rocks and pits. That's the only part I see their cars not being able to cross. Other than that, they can still use their cars.

Shit, good memory, I forgot the caves.....Let's say that the course has been altered, and that every part of the circuit can be navigated by the Mach 5 and the Shooting Star.
