My bad. I get confused with some of the names here in fc.Why wouldn't the other monitors then welcome his efforts?

Not really. He isn't evil like he used to be. He also saved the marvel universe in marvel's the end. He's indifferent more than anything, but you painting him as some completely evil villain shows you don't understand the character.

Didn't you say his reputation is destroying and being the master of all? Didn't you say villains betray each other?
Didn't you say his reputation would get Nekron to recruit him?
Characters can change. You have no clue about the history of Thanos so why even pretend you know.

Again, just because he makes an attempt to be a good heroes doesn't mean everyone sees a hero in him.
It's in his nature to want to be a tyrant.
If a man on the street has a reputation with murdering people and then comes to your home and says I am no longer that person, would you believe him?
There have been character like Lex who save the Universe but are still evil.

Evil is evil. Darkseid has saved the Universe too, three times if not more.

Originally posted by Omega VisionHe isn't evil through to this core like darkseid. That's always been my point.
He's not a good person by any stretch.
A sin is a sin and repentance and change can never truly undo anything. Thanos at the end of the day is a villain and though guys like you want to believe he's special in some way he's really no different than Darkseid. If anything he's more pathetic because he seems to think there's some higher cause he's following whereas Darkseid realizes that he's a power-hungry tyrant who will eventually die at his son's hand (not that he won't try to prevent that)
He is just passed all that. Who said he lives for some higher cause?
He's grown as a character leaps and bounds. They would share a common goal, the destruction of Seid and Drakk.
Originally posted by -Pr-I disagree, but it's one just one avenue in which he could take. I don't think he needs the black lanterns anyways. It sort of created a mini debate.
i thought this thread, for some reason, was Thanos Vs the Black Lanterns, so, my bad.But there is no way in hell they would ally with him. Ever.
Originally posted by iceman24567He wouldn't waste his time with the lanterns he'd go straight for their leader. You know what he could do though now that I think of it. Let a clone be killed and team up with the black lanterns against their common enemy while Thanos stays on the sidelines.
The Lanterns seem to have a one track mind hearts so yeah Thanos isn't weaseling his way into a collab

Originally posted by Omega VisionThanos creates said clone who thinks he is the real Thanos with the immediate threat of fc. It's quite ingenius. The black lanterns will have this clone in their thrall and be none the wiser.
Every clone that dies is a Black Lantern that can kill Thanos. That's a bad plan. And again you fail to understand that Thanos cannot hope to suckle up to Nekron. Nekron is a force of nature. I'm sure lots of New Orleans residents tried to ally themselves with Hurricane Katrina before it hit.
The real Thanos doesn't have to lift a finger and can let these two forces meet hide to head while watching the end of the ufc fighter.

Originally posted by Omega VisionNo, he wouldn't. This Thanos would have all the real memories of the ones Thanos wanted him to see about fc and the threat it posed.
That makes no ****ing sense. Nekron would certainly realize who the real Thanos is. Why the **** are you even bringing the BLC into this? It makes no sense at all and Thanos has no hope in winning here.
This is a much better plan and one in which Thanos would definitely implement rather than going in by himself. Nekron would go after this threat as it's in his best interest.
