Interesting opinion on why the US economy won't recover

I know this article is nine months old but it's premise is pretty solid IMHO.

I like the guy's solution as well, unfortunately it'll never happen.

If the US had a large boom in green manufacturing, that would boost the US's position quite a bit. We would have to invent or improve technologies, as well. That's what Obama wants to do. I agree with Obama, on this particular point.

"Green" is rarely the interest that motivates business to relocate their factories. $

Compare to the early 20th century. Far more people were being forced to take unskilled factory jobs. Now we've outsourced most of those.

I think the 3 trillion interest the US has to pay on its loans might cause a slight problem as far as the recovery goes.

What I don´t understand is, if the US has borrowed or has as much dept than there is money in existence, where did the money come from?

The whole economic system is a sick joke imo.

If I remember correctly 4 trillion are foreign backed loans and 8 million are held by the public.

No where in that article did it say "The reason the US economy wont recover is because it's run by a black man and we all know black people are shit with money and will only spend it on crack and hookers". So I fail to see how it's valid at all.
