Alright, it's time to go on one of my rants again.

It really irks me on these boards when people display massive fan loyalty towards Marvel or DC characters. It's the only way Surfer has a chance here. As soon as anyone is called out on it, they claim they're not biased.
But you know what - it's ok to be biased. Everyone is biased. You just need to acknowledge it so you can get the hell over it. I'll tell you straight up that I like Darkseid. I like him a lot. It has nothing to do with why he stomps here.
If you want to know what other characters I'm biased towards, I'd be happy to tell you. Would you honestly do the same?

Alright, seriously, I don't know why but every time a thread pops up featuring Darkseid on these boards people jump to his lowest feats. He (and perhaps Spectre) seems to consistently be the only character that always gets lowballed. With every other character people concentrate on their high end feats. Hell, most of the time they use theoretical feats (see Zoom, Flash, etc).
When it comes to Darkseid, though, it's always about how he loses sometimes to Superman. The guy could be a f'ing multiversal threat who destroys reality just by being in it and you guys wouldn't give him a chance (oh wait...). But no, it's always about the stupid stairs incident, or Superman. The fact that those were all retconned to being avatars or [/i]Desaad[/i] means nothing to you.
You don't care about how his high end feats. You don't want to know about how he's created beings as powerful as Silver Surfer. You don't care about how he's given people more power than the Silver Surfer could dream of. You don't care about any high end feats because that might mean he's more powerful than the characters you like. Get over it. It's ok for Darkseid to be more powerful. It doesn't take anything away from Silver Surfer, or Thanos, or Hulk, or Superman, or Odin, or whoever the hell else you want to compare him to.
Get off your damn high horses and have some consistency in your arguments.

You first. Remember when Iron man beat surfer. That was all according to darkseid's plan, earlier he crushed raker and his ring literally.
Darkseid didn't intend for Raker to hand him his ass in that scene. Read it again.
