Oh shit! I forgot a small detail about a comic I read once more than a month ago about a team of characters I don't give a shit about and whose plot I already forgot about. My comprehension is TEH WORST.
Seriously though, when Reed said it would kill them because they bleed energy I thought is because they do that in general. I didn't realize it's because of the already existing wounds.
