Been waiting for this game since I heard about it. I still play the original Splatterhouse arcade game from time to time, so f*cking awesome.

Just read a thing on this saying its alot more violent then God Of War.

This may be the most violent game ever made. The critics are TRASHING this game.

Have'nt played the game yet but am still interested in it despite some bad reviews.

I'm very keen to play this game, but I refuse to pay $60 for it. I'm waiting for a price drop. There are certain games that I will pay full price for so I can play them as soon as possible, but Splatterhouse, despite it's gory appeal, is not one of them.

I finally bought Splatterhouse today for only $25 at Gamestop.

This game is so bloody that it creates a whole new level of bloodiness in video games! The pace of the game is surprisingly fast and fun.

The game itself is not great, but not bad, either. It's definitely one of those games that could have been SO much better, but is still a decent game. However, I'll go on record by saying that this game IS NOT worth $60.

The game isn't all bad, to be honest, just NOT worth full price. It's brutally violent and often hilarious because of the insane remarks made by the Terror Mask. There are a lot of great quotes like:

‎"Jes-us Rick; get it together. I asked you to trust me; first sign of blood you're crying like a schoolgirl. For a dick, you are such a pu$sy."

and

(When the player stands still for too long and does nothing)

Mask: "So, who are you listening to at the moment?"

Rick: "Oh, ummm...Let me think...Lamb of God...Mutant Supremacy, Cavalera Conspiracy...High on Fire...The Accused, The Haunted, ASG, Goatwhore."

Mask: "Oh, goat whore? F*ck me, I love goat whore - oh wait, nevermind...- You mean the band - oh sorry, I thought you meant...nevermind."
