hunger doesnt really destroy anything tho he just absorbes it into himself

You're mistaking his usage of hungry though. Galactus was in a weakened state. Hunger, by his very nature, is always going to be hungry, but we have no indication that it affects his power level.

During the BCA Tiamut had tampered with galactus's hunger so that he would have to eat entire universes to satisfy hes hunger. no evolving...
and Galactus is essential to the multi-verse unlike the other abstracts except Eternity

yeah Mephs ralm is good but it aint rilly clear...from panel it could of been just a planet he wuz eatin 😬 (the planet he & Meph were fighting on)
