I could easily throw up gladiator combating at light speed or blitzing at light speed and its SAYING that he's doing it.

Getting back on topic, this is too close to call-Ireckon it would be 5/5 between Thanos and HP Doomsday

This fight would be more like even keel for a while until doomsday start adapting and getting stronger, More spikier, etc.

Darkseid could beat Thanos but he'd want to avoid fighting him h/h. Darkseid is tough but every time he gets in a physical fight his credibility as a master schemer and a genius comes into question. Why get your hands dirty when you have the OE? In h/h fights he mostly relies on his size and strength. When DD attacked him from behind the combination of his shock and the fact that he's not a natural fighter meant he couldn't raise an adequate defense.

I pretty much agree with this. I think in a h2h encounter between Thanos and DS… I think Thanos takes a heavy majority, like 9/10 imo. That just isn't DS forte and he doesn't have the skill, striking power nor durability to hang with Thanos. Obviously DS best bet is to use the OE like you mentioned or various other powers he has. Him fighting that way he would certainly do much better and it would be a very good close fight. Maybe DS could take a slight majority.. maybe Thanos would… but that debate is neither here nor there. I also agree that DD caught DS by surprise and thus why he was able to end the fight that quickly. If DS was ready and facing him, I think he still losses the majority but obviously puts up a better fight. Thanos vs. DD in h2h only… I think is a very good fight. HP DD only, might might take a slight majority.

Darkseid beat the wtf blood out of Superman with only a few hits. Superman was inches from unconsciousness. If Darkseid is serious he deals well. I don't believe Thanos could beat Darkseid in a fist fight (but it won't be easy for Darkseid).
