Surfer and Thor couldn't do it. Can Superman?

The fact that SS let himself get hit a lot doesn't mean Superman will.

No more or less than any other opponent that they fight. Maniacally dodging attacks is a tactic nobody actually uses in comics, not even Superman. Superman actually seems more intent on "getting a feel" for how strong his opponent is.

Yes, if Thor's back is up against the wall and he brings his best to the table he beats Durok all day. The impressive thing was that he did it hammerless.

Thor has also thrown characters into space. The odds of Supes or Thor beating anyone with this option for a majority are slim to none.
