USH'S STAR WARS GAME- LIGHT SIDE INTERLUDE- 'Broken Lance'

Started by Jovan26 pages

I would prefer the Agalanians taking a secondary role in this. During the Renegade story we didn't really think about the lives of the others and it got many of them killed.

Anyway, I need help of others on this now.

We will need the Agalanians' help of course. They are not only protecting their own people but helping to protect others as well! I'm sure they'll be pleased with that notion.

We should split into two groups for our ambush on the strike team. The first group will go with the Agalanian starfighters, to attack the pirates' ships. The second group will wait for the pirates in the Tomb of Renohan XXXI and attack them on the ground.

So, start volunteering for one or the other! Whichever group that Roan goes with, he should be in command of it. I will be second-in-command of the fighter group, and Andro should be second-in-command of the ambush group.

Fighter Group
Jelena
?

Ambush Group
?

I feel like this will probably be ported over to the incoming Episode V but I'm sure there is no harm in getting started with the planning.

What do we know about the Tomb of Renohan XXXI, Ush? It sounds very ominous.

Xeth can go either way. We'll see where others go. Do we get to use our own ships for the fight or are we borrowing Jedi Fighters and Agalanian Fighters? What are the Agalanian Fighters and military troops like, so we know what we're working with?

Agalania was long ruled by a series of Emperors that spent insane amounts of money on lavish tombs which were filled with gold and jewelery and other such stuff, to the point where the planet itself ended up becoming impoverished and the line died out.

Renohan XXXI was the most lavish and opulent of all, and there are massive amounts of valuables within his resting place.

I will contact the Authorities and help coordinate everything.

Here are the Groups.

Starfighters:
Roan
Jelena
Drenzal
Klu
Wentar

Ambush:
Xeth
Vlad
Gallagher
Andro
Jovan
Vera-Kin

I will lead the Starfighter group and Xeth will lead the Ambush Group. Like Jelena said, she is second-in-command for starfighters, and Andro is second-in-command for Ambush.

The Ambush crowd should have two branches. Xeth should lead one group who are actually in the Tomb, and Andro should lead a second who hit where the transports put down, so we can capture their cargo transports and deny the pirates any escape.
Also this will help the starfighters because Andro can Radio out and tell us when the Pirates are fully committed so we can commence space battle!

Yay!

Alright guys. Lets do this thing!

Agalania is a desert. They can put down in open ground easily; an ambiush would be very difficult.

Oh, so it literally is Egypt...
Would there be a place for someone to act as a lookout and still Radio the Starfighter team?

Egypt indeed!

It could be radioed in easily from the |Tomb., The Tomb complex itself- part of a vast network of tombs built over a very long time- is a good hiding place.

Is the tomb some sort of museum? Does it have guards? Is it protected?

It's not just lying around undiscovered in the middle of nowhere, right? Someone would've raided it already then.

And if Agalanian world was impoverished due to the spendings on all these tombs, why didn't they excavate the tombs and sell all the luxuries that their previous rulers bought?

Not a museum. Think like pyramids, though this one is built of marble and is mostly underground. More a tourist attraciton than a museum; no-one is allowed inside.

And for the same reason that Egyptians today consider it bad form to tear out all the treasures in the tombs there- it is cultural vandalsim. They are no longer so poverty stricken anyway, in these days of commerce between planets- though like all planets in this area, they are hardly super-rich.

Xeth wants everyone to hide in the Tomb of Renohan XXXI! Anywhere else sounds like it will be out in the open desert where the pirates can see us. Everyone includes the Jedi and the Agalanian soldiers.

Once they're all in the Tomb, we can seal them in...

Ok, you have heard back from the Agalanians- they are preparing what forces they can.

They request that you not fight them IN the Tomb- that could cause incalculable damage! They would rather spring the trap on the surface, aroun the entrances to the various tombs.

Damn, trapping them in the Tomb would have been terrifying for them. So much for Operation Mummy Returns. Looks like we'll hide in the Tombs and then come out to make our attack. Xeth's okay with that.

Are we using our own ships for this?

Facepalm! Gallagher probably could have started doing the intuitive thing long ago. Good work, Jovan.

Gallagher is going to ask the Padawans- Sunda excluded, he's going wherever Roan puts him- how they feel about getting into the fight.

"D'an, Essallin, and Argo," Gallagher asks. "It feels like yesterday that we were told we were being gifted with such helpful and glorious students. However, now the time comes for us to take action against the pirates... do you feel ready to fight them?"

Gallagher in particular looks at his student, wondering how the introspective D'an will handle killing.

If the padawans don't want to fight on the ground there's always room for a co-pilot on the Free Flier. 😛

Assuming we are flying our own ships that is...

I have a feeling that they're going to be reluctant to kill pirates, while Sunda will be so very excited to stab things.

*facepalm*

So we hide inside the tomb at the entrance and pop out when they try to get in? What's stopping them from fleeing back the way they came?

If we're waiting for point of maximum exposure, we're going to have people waiting in the Tomb of Renohan, but it sounds like the Agalanians have other tombs in the area that we can hide in. We'll pop out in front, from the sides, and then close things off behind. Totally surround them and then lay down the law.

Sounds good. It's going to be funny to see how the pirates react when eight Jedi, not including the Padawans, engage them as they try to acquire some golden statues of mummies.
