superman w/ captain america's shield vs darkseid

let's assume superman was fed up with darkseid and captain america's spirit came to him and entrusted him with his shield to take out darkseid once and for all.

also assume superman is well versed in the legendary shield's properties and the way in which cap wielded it (history books and such)
