Well they wrote themselves ito a corner. Its the only way you can justify someone walking around after getting exploded.

Though it might not have been an asspull. Remember when Vader betrays him and throws him out into space, and then he wakes up just fine afterwards? My reaction was WTFNO! You can't survive that. But what if he didn't? Get my drift? 😉 I also recall that after he wakes up in the novel he wonders why he no longer has any scars. So this all might have been some brilliant scheme they had right from the beginning. Or just dumb luck.

Here's my take, You know in the EU Palpatine returns with clones?(aware that vader cloned him) Well in the End of this game Palpatine might posses this Starkiller clone thus begining the events in the future.( I could be wrong and think its going to be a good ending instead where he survives instead)

And here's the retarded part, if Vader wanted Galen to be more loyal to him why did he try kill him in the first place? I mean he was following his orders fine until that point. then when Starkiller was still following his orders he does it again.

but its too early to speculate.

I myself hope that this game will focus a bit more on lightsaber combat. I mean I barely used the lightsaber in the first part because many enemies had some shield to stun you if you tried to attack them in melee or they were simply superior to you.

Holy Crap that cinematic trailer was intense. I am seriously looking forward to this, to the point where my brain hurts...

I know what you mean about the saber combat. Too much reliance on force powers to grab someone from across a room or throw your saber about. More intense boos battles too, I found that the saber boss battles weren't realistic enough for me, constantly striking someone with a lightsaber like you do would leave them with limited limbs lol...

Yeah I would like it to be like in that Cinematic Trailer. With Galen Marek mainly using his lightsabers and using his forcepowers as a weapon for when being outnumbered/ outgunned.

the closest thing i can think of are those saber struggles in TFU1, where you must tap the attack button quickly to win, or perhaps those times where you and the enemy attack at the same time, which led to that quick animation where they locked swords then quickly stepped away from each other..but to turn those into a whole boss fight would be pretty damn tricky..

I know, a guy can hope though lol

Well it would be kind of awesome if the complete boss battle consisted of quick time events. That way the developers could focus on awesome animations and stuff. ^^

I'm noticing a pattern here lol. Quick time events in the first game were good, they made the battle feel worth while as you pile-drive Rahm Kota's face into the ceiling dome of the tie-fighter factory above Nar Shaddaa. And the semi-boss fights where you quick time Rancors and Imperial Guards is pretty cool.

But having an entire boss-battle sequence of quick time events would make the boss-battles seem like just another cinematic that you have to pay close attention to constantly. What I'm trying to say is that complete control of a character at a key point in a game is what draws a player in, giving them control over what seems like a life or death situation. Quick times are good, but in small doses and few and far between.

I'm just saying that it would look good. Didn't say anything about that playing the fights would be fun.
To return to what I was originally saying: they should really work on the lightsaber combat. What I'm saying is not that it's supposed to be like in the movies, but that you should be able to use them without the enemy being completely superior to you.

For me, half the fun is coming across a boss that is vastly superior to me. Once I've defeated them I feel awesome.

I don't know about you but after I finally managed Paratus I was just feeling as if the developers were making fun of me... I mean that boss battle raised the difficulty very abruptly. To me it went like this: Rodians? No problem! Scrap Guardians etc? No problem! Kazdan Paratus? Big problem!!!

I know what you mean, I didn't die once fighting Rahm Kota, but Kazdan Paratus I died multiple countless times...

It's the fact he throws stuff at you and then raises a scrap guardian...and I really didn't like that arial dive bomb that had the shock wave.

Yeah they have to work on slowly raising the difficulty to let the player grow with it instead of abruptly setting new standards for the player.
