Investment Employees Fired for Playing Fantasy Football

I'd like to tell you folks that playing fantasy games while at work is probably not a good idea, at all. Some employees that work at an Investment company were fired when discovered playing fantasy football. One employee commented "To fire people over something like this, it's just cold." Well jobs suck and they're brutal, welcome to reality.

Depends on what department someone works for at my work. In my department you cant get fired for being on KMC but the two rooms beside me someone may can get fired for being on a non related work site.

True! 6 years ago I was under the management of a real nazi paper pusher. We weren't allowed to browse anything online...but times change and he got more flexible. We now have websense and KMC is acceptable. But sites like Youtube or Myspace are consider "media access" and "social linkage" therefore we're deny access.
