Its been a little slow, and I am bored. So I will give an odds update. I will disregard the current draft, since its vary likely for teams to redraft a character or two.
Odds of winning 1-5, 5 being the highest chance.
Team: id369 and King Kandy_- Genis-Vell, Quasar, Onslaught
I don’t really like to make comment on my own team. But I will say that I am vary happy with our draft, and so far Kandy has been an excellent partner.
As far as my match with Pr/Philo. Our use of holding characters in between dimensions, was ruled. I would say it hurt us, because our strategy was to lock in, and freeze their movements. Not drain or weaken them through what ever exploitation. I always felt, that was our advantage. You guys have a list of exploitable weakness, we have the power set to make use of them.
I was also worried that the last minute post blitz, would be enough to sway the judges vote. When I spoke to Kandy via PM, about using the last of our posts refute/defend we decided not to. What we saw was two members being objective, but not addressing an objection. Much was rehashed. Some of you might disagree, but I think we applied a smart tactic, and looking at out roster. Weakness exploitation was the best way to handle their team. If it came to it, our team was ready to plant their feats, and go into the physical exchange.
As long as we keep our feet planted, we stand a good chance at winning this tournament.

Team Leonidas & Galen007_- Jason (Firestorm), Thor, Walter West (Dark Flash)
I give Leo the best chance at winning this. Reason for that is, Leo is both random, and ingenuitive when it comes to prep. Equally important, out of all the possible members, to team up with. He lands with Galen, and to me Galen is one of the better debaters on this forum.
Unfortunately they coasted through their match with Omega Vision/xJLxKing. Though OV/JL had a powerful roster, they overlooked several rule violations thus handicapping themselves.

Team Kris Blaze & KM_- Captain Comet, Beta Ray Bill, Talisman II/Shaman
The Noob Duo. Both new comers to the tournament. Both picking characters they are most familiar with. Kris and KM tends to relay on heavy pressure tactics, like the prize fighter Margarito. But smart pressure, you see there are different kinds of pressure tactics. You have head hunters, who look to land big K.O.s up stair. And you have volume punching, to loosen up the body before it starts to fall a apart.
In their match with CD/PG, I saw an up hill battle where KB/KM pressured their adversary to go for exchange. Psi vs. Psi, Magic vs. Magic, Hammer vs. Power Ring. Problem is, CD/PG did not count on a rule out which did hurt them, and threw them off rhythm. It’s a shame, since Charlotte likes to relay on strategy, and bait tactics to land strong counter arguments.
Other then being new comers to the tournament, I think that picking fan favorites could hurt their chances. If they fall victim of arguing in a fanboyish sense.

Team JaketheBank & Original Smurph_- Sersi, Cyborg Superman, Sinestro
A vet and a novice. A last minute entry to the tournament, Smurph drooped Thor in favor of Sersi. Darth/Blair gunned to put to gather as much versatility, and power plus the unknown factor in their prep. With two massive matter manipulators, and Dr. Doom, you better believe that unknown factor could greatly hinder their efforts at victor.
So how does JB/OS respond? By coming up with an equally versatile, and powerful team. Hey lets see how Krytonian Heralds match up against Kryptonian Lanterns. Not to be outdone, Darh/B-Dub came up with various plans, which ended up hurting themselves. Since they are attempting to do to much, with little time to spare.
Despite winning by a slight margin. Smurph/Jake pulled, what I would think the biggest upset in this tournament. Like Mike Tyson vs. Buster Douglas upset.
