Ridley v.s. Wesker

In a closed off cylindrical room, a-la Metroid fusion. Ridley is in his normal form, from zero-mission. Wesker from RE5 with all abilities and weapons.

Can he take on Ridley?

Was going to decide for myself who would win at first, but the fanboy within me wouldn't allow it, so imma just shed a tear for whoever loses this match instead. cry

Wesker is fast enough to dodge Ridley's attacks and if there are missiles for Wesker to pick up and throw, he might have a chance at harming Ridley.

There would be no missiles for him to pick up and throw.

Even so, not sure how much your typical RE missile could do to Ridley.

Seriously, he takes a ton of punishment from even Samus' super advanced tech.

according to the manga, Ridley doesn't like the taste of humans... so he'd probably just throw him away, or feed him to the space pirates.

Maybe the virus makes him tastier?

Viruses make anything tastier.

Given there nature and the fact that both of them have advantages in terms of physical combat (Ridley can fly so Wesker can't touch him and at the same time Weskers speed means he himself is untouchable) I would assume that they would for-go there brawn and settle on an intellectual battle over say, a game of chess in order to determine a winner.

But naturally neither can really touch the other and there's no indication that Wesker could damage Ridley even with his enhanced physical strength, just as I doubt Ridley can catch up with Weskers speed and reflex's. Since both are strategic manipulators and both have a high intellect I could honestly see there battle being more of the mind then of strength.

I could see Wesker saving his endurance for a bullet dodge when Ridley makes a strike, and aiming for the geoform's eyes as a counter. Don't know how long he'd be able to last, though.
