We are talking about a guy that actually have planet destroying on panel strength feats and someone who has shown the ability more than once that he can fight at near the speed of light and a guy that swim in suns (and remember, hes not powered by the sun so its a durability feat).
Gladiator would physically THRASH orion and there is nothing indicating that Orion can take planet destroying punches.
