What is your favorite Resident Evil game?

I'm going to say it's a tie between RE Remake for GC and RE 2. You can't beat the creepy atmosphere in number 1. Mansion and all. I'm sure the gameplay is better in 4, but overall, my 2 favorite is 1 and 2.

I'm surprised this topic has'nt been made.

For me, the atmosphere in the original RE on the PS FAR outdoes the one on the GC. It was a genuinely hard and creepy game, but the GC once suffered imo, as wonderfully put together.

RE 2 or 3 would be my favourites, personally.

4, 2 is a close second.
