we figure the book will be around for a long time, and there's room for all kinds of stories to be told with Frank. Since we're at a time where Jason's knocking the serious stuff out of the park, why tell stories that could come across like watered down Max stories, when we can embrace the madness of Marvel's 616 and really lean into some crazy shit, and keep Frank's heart the same despite the shithouse crazy that surrounds him? Since he'll be out of our hands soon enough and doing what he does, why not make something else?

he just looks more ugly whats really changed? lol. its cool, i didnt think it be in 616 when i first herd of it. but why the hell not? ppl should calm down, dont act like this is the be all end all for punisher. they can bring him back. be it with tech or something else or even time travel. for fuk sake its comics. if bucky can come back punisher can be turned into a undead inhuman killing machine and back to a human inhuman killing machine before we know it.
