He used that in Sorcerer Supreme #24 the Dark Wars. He never faced Eternity in this issue. Stop reading it from bios because this is exactly where you're getting your infos from. You're mixing up infos, open up a book instead.
Dormammu didn't wreck Eternity in the way some might think. He attack Eternity and both knocked each other into oblivion where Dormammu was sent hurling into some other nether realm. But there he took over the demons of that realm too.
