Marc Webb is is apparently directing the Spidey reboot. He did 500 days of Summer. I don't know about this. It was a good film, 500 days, but I hope he can take Spider-Man to new levels.

Exactly they give you choice 2D or 3D if you don't like 3D then don't ****ing watch it that way.
Most movies who use 3D, use it as a gimmick. Forcing the 3D down your throat to be able to say "Hey, look! Stuff is popping out of the screen, look at it!". This is why I would rather they shoot it in 2D and leave it like that.
Yeah, I knew Marc Webb was old news, thought I'd put it up in this thread since it hasn't been posted, and to me, it's kind of a big deal. I really enjoyed 500 Days of Summer, and I'm wondering if Webb does direct the Spidey reboot, will it be slightly set to that tone? Obviously the two films are completely different, and I'm sure Webb can direct something different, but some directors direct a lot of movies the same. Example, John Woo films, we know what we're getting.
Could The Spider-Man Reboot Be Ultimate?

Nothing has been made official but Logan Lerman may have been casted...
I just saw 500 Days of Summer. I no longer have that many fears of the movie being emo since he will be in high school. I have realized that Marc Webb is capable of handling high school drama good without doing it emo.
There are other adaptations or comics of Spidey where he is in high school and he's not emo. Ultimate Spider-Man and Spectacular Spider-Man (cartoon series) are good examples of that.

🙁 I am not interested in seeing spiderman in Highschool, what will he do?Beat up the school bully? 😬
Dude if they are going to do the comic justice the only thing they can do is reboot it like they did with Batman Begins and erase the horrible memorys of that god awful Raimi/Mcguire franchise series and thats the only way to redeem themselves is start all over again like they wisely did with Batman by going back to his roots in high school. and what do you mean, beat up the school bully, are you forgetting he also fought the green goblin as well?

Sony has confirmed that Peter Parker/Spider-Man, as well as the majority of the other cast, will be played by unknowns. This means no Zac Efron, no Robert Pattinson, no Shia LaBeouf, etc.
News sure travels slowly around here.tell that to the people in the spiderman four discussion.some of them seem to ignorantly think that Raimi and Mcguire are coming back again. 🙄
