Darkseid vs Lobo

Lobo has been hired by the survivors of a planet that Darkseid destroyed to hunt down and kill the Lord of Apokolips. He swears to take Darkseid down and collect the bounty on his head.

Can he do it?

I don't think that works. Once Lobo takes a job he can't be bought. You can get out by outsmarting him, getting him in your debt (or forcing him to make a promise to not hunt you anymore) but I don't think offering him more is enough for him to break his code. His word is really all he has.

to my knowledge slobo started off a hefty margin weaker than lobo. aside from that, his power only continued to regress as his already unstable genetics/body began to chronically degrade. said degradation eventually caused slobo more extensive weakness, along with blindness.

that said, darkseid really did slobo a favor when he slung his consciousness into the distant future. heh.
