How much prep would Doom need to be able to utterly crush Thanos?

There wouldn't be enough time available

Maybe not even that. 🙂

This would be a great comic series.

If my dream of becoming a comic book writer comes true and I ever get to write a run for Fantastic Four I'll be tempted to make a storyline where some magical/technological snafu separates Victor Von Doom from his supervillain Ego DOOM. DOOM will TALK LIKE THIS, WITH DOOM'S FISTS RAISED TO THE HEAVENS SO THAT GOD HIMSELF WILL STAND IN AWE OF DOOM'S GREATNESS!! And all his amazing schemes will be thwarted by his constant monologuing and his borderline limerent obsession with Reed Richards.

He used Galactus' technology(matter convertor).

No, he created his own device using Galactus' tech.

Exactly. He needed Galactus' matter convertor.

It still required some special Doom-brand techno sorcery to get the desired result. That's like detracting from the invention of the Space Shuttle just because someone had to invent rockets first.

The guy said that Doom created the device with nothing. I just pointed out that he needed Galactus' tech to invent the device.

What some people seem to forget, is that Thanos was already powerful from the day he was born. He also was raised in a technically very advanced civilization.

Doom on the other hand, had nothing, only his body and his will. This didn't stop him becoming one of the most dangerous, cunning, clever and respected characters of the MU.

Given their backgrounds, Dooms accomplishments are far more impressive.

Not. At. All. Both made themselves into something far greater through alliances, tech, etc. Thanos is what doom aspires to be.

Unlike Doom Thanos was born with his Eternal powers, Doom had to work to become a great scientist and sorceror. What don't you get about that?

Doom's a colossal failure next to Thanos.

Thanos made Thanos what he is today. He was nowhere near as formidable with just the abilities he was born with. His achievements/tech/ feats all make doom look like the chump he is in comparison to Thanos.

Think before you post shite like that.

Sure Thanos>Doom, but don't you think your exaggerating it a bit by saying "Doom is a colossal failure next to Thanos".

They both have acomplished the same things.

Thanos became god with Cosmic Cube, IG and THOTI.
Doom became god with Cosmic Cube, and Beyonder's power. He nearly also got the IG.

I'd love to hear who Quan thinks isn't a colossal failure next to Thanos.

Thanos clone maybe.

Thornos, the hybrid of Thor and Thanos that appears every night in Quan's dream.
