Name: Silver
Age: 61
Gender: Male
Rank: None
Breed: Unknown (Grey Wolf related)
Biography:
Silver is not part of the pack anymore, but he once has been. He left it not long before Marrok claimed Alpha rank, having picked up on the tension in the pack and not wanting any part of the future such tension held. He was strong then, maybe one of the strongest males in the pack and left for that reason first and foremost. His strength did not really fade along years to come, but he had no interest in peaking his prowess.
Some would have called Silver a pacifist. No one ever asked Silver though, they just judged and Silver was confident enough to not bother arguing. He would let them talk, let them believe that it was that simple. Silver had a more expansive way of thinking than most wolves. Silver never enjoyed the thrill of a hunt. To him, it was necessity and nothing more.
When hunting, he picked weak, injured or young as target. Back when he was part of the pack, this was not a popular habit. Many defined him as weak, going for the weakest prey he could find. Some at times found him eating long dead beings, satisfying himself on the carcass. What brought greatest dislike in the pack however, was his habit of eating deceased wolves. Silver lives by the belief that the dead serve the living, and that if there is food available, hunting should not take place.
So why did Silver go for the young ones alongside weak and injured, some would wonder. Silver never spoke of it, but the underlying reason for doing so was that whatever creatures he hunted down would have a better chance in the future if the elders and more experienced survived. He was confident that if you took away the more experienced ones, the pack of that victim would have a lesser chance at surviving the cataclysm that has struck the world so hard.
Unlike most wolves, Silver trusted his mind and heart more than he did his nature and instincts. That was why he was inofficially the Omega of the Lupuei pack for the time he spent there, because he showed by wolven definition weakness. He cared nothing for strength, nothing for honor and nothing for tradition. When he left, he was confident he would be forgotten. He was not someone worth remembering. He was an Omega and he did not care. When he left, it felt right. It was not in his nature to be part of a pack. He was too different from them.
Appearance:
Silver is a strange wolf breed, his appearance the result of a genetic deficiency, or a mutation. It was never something worth thinking about. His fur is pure silver, glimmering clear under moonlight. Silver has greenish nuances spread across head, neck and torso. Streams, lines, spots that are a nuance of green in nature. His eyes are lit as pure golden, visible clearly day as well as night. Briefly put, Silver would more properly be defined as a Silver Wolf rather than Grey Wolf.
