I was going to watch it tonight, but someone had to get a rain check glare

The previews look nice.

It's a film remake of an original British television series that was suppose to be rather good, didn't see it myself. Film looks nothing special.

Apparently it's out there in America on DVD, so you could rent it.

Just a warning, from what i've read the movie is 95% drama and 5% action for all you Taken fans out there.

Been getting alot of good reviews from what i've seen.

The preview I watched of the film made me want to see it. One of my favorite movie types is the "revenge" type.

The premise of the film is Mel Gibson's daughter is killed and Gibson's character is a police officer. At least, that's what I got from the preview. Apparently, the "bad guys" are ultra connected or something and it makes for a complicated revenge plot. A must see for me, baby.

Yeah, i was going to go watch it, but then i realized that i already saw this movie two years ago with Liam Neeson. It was called..,Taken. Mad Mel is a lil late to the party. I'm sure it's good. I still love the guy.

Besides, Hasn't Mel already treaded these waters with, Ransom?

I'm sure as hell seeing it. Looks like a fun Saturday afternoon flick.

Believe it or not, I'm actually in this movie. They shot alot of it in Mass. Mel Gibson is a tiny dude.

Movie was ok. Fairly generic stuff. Gibson is always fun to watch in such a role, though.

How was his Boston accent?

Can't stand when actors that can't do one, try (eg Kevin Costner), as it sounds more annoying than most other poorly mimicked accents.

I've heard worse. Boston accents in movies are always pretty watered down, otherwise they would be sometimes tough to understand.

Mel Gibson is back and he’s angry, very angry. I actually miss Mel. Mel has been responsible for the awesome Mad Max and Lethal Weapon series. He’s back playing a role he’s very familiar with. Well, he’s actually made this movie before. Do you remember Payback? How about Ransom? He take no prisoners, you screwed with my family and I’m gonna kill you. I love that! This movie has a lot more twists and turns that the ones I just mentioned. It might give you a headache wondering who his daughter was really working for and why she was murdered. Without ruining the film entirely, here’s what you need to know. His daughter gets killed, Mel gets pissed off, goes and tries to kill any bad guys he encounters and finds out maybe his daughter wasn’t the perfect girl next-door daughter he thought she was! Aside from that, we all have been bombarded with revenge movies as of late and I’m a sucker for them because I absolutely love it when the bad guy gets what they deserve. If you loved Death Sentence, Taken, The Brave One…than you won’t want to miss Edge of Darkness.
