Avatar Dvd/Bluray

I like the movie, saw it on 3D IMAX, awesome, got the dvd copy also.

I noticed that it came in a uniquely cool packaging, I wonder where I could get those. Need it to replace broken cases.

Just watched it for the first time a few days ago. Whoa! What a beautiful movie.

i think cameron decided to wait to deliver the inevitable "avatar in 3d" because he's waiting for bluray player 3d firmware, or the actual player itself to come out this summer, or fall, i think.

honestly i can't even imagine how good a blu ray avatar in 3d's gonna look like but i bet it'll be mind boggling. orgasmic. i mean just avatar in bluray looks stupid amazing. i've never seen a more hi def film ever. and it's in 2d..

A extended version is comming out

Oo yes an extra 8 minutessssss....

I paid £20 to see this the first time I am not paying again just for an extra 8 minutes.

Also the special edition DVD/Blu Ray apparently will have 16 minutes of new footage.. so what they gonna re-re-release it to make even more money.

Then there will be a 3D version

Apparently, it's not worth seeing for the extra footage, part of it is a pointless sex scene(that people have been calling the 'navi porn', or something like that) and nothing of any interest really, an alternative death scene that you can see why it was left out in the original cut, and so on.

Basically, don't waste your money going to see it at the cinema again or buy the extended dvd/blu ray...

Worth watching for fans, completists and anyone who missed it on the big screen first time around - but it won't win over any haters.

Still wont go see it.

They gave five stars to the original cut of the film, so not surprising really.

😐 I will not be paying to see it again at the cinema,I think it's ****ing greedy,I mean,surely they made enough money off the first version then to try milking us more to pay again too see and extended cut of it.

🙂 Exactly,Then they will bring out an ''Extended cut'' on dvd to make us pay more again,I liked the movie,but I can live without seeing these extended scenes.

Good thing i have'nt brought the dvd.
